How it works
Every app launches seeded with real money — there’s no free tier, on purpose. Its true cost is public from day one: “Costs $6/mo. Funded through Sep 30.”
Creator, user, total stranger — guest checkout, no account. Money is always shown as time ($5 → +2 weeks), and the ledger is public: anna added 2 weeks · 3 days ago.
An empty jar means hibernation, not deletion. The page goes quiet and warm, the data stays safe, and one payment boots the machine in seconds.

Runway is always a date, never a dollar amount — dollars only appear where honesty needs them.
More than 30 days of fuel
Furniture mode. Green, still, quiet. It never animates and never asks — it just tells the truth about the tank.
30 days or less
The bar turns amber. That color change is the entire broadcast — no emails, no popups. On the jar page a goal bar appears: $4 of $12 toward two more months.
7 days or less
The countdown. Always the gap, never the void — how close the goal is, not how empty the jar is. Past funders get at most two emails, ever, per drama. Then the gauge counts down alone. Every countdown is a real clock on a real machine.
The jar hits zero
Asleep, not gone. The app’s page shows the fairness timeline — 12-day warning, 3-day countdown, the date it slept — proof nothing was sprung on anyone. Data stays safe indefinitely; a sleeping app costs almost nothing, and that’s the point.
A revive payment lands
Seconds of honest boot theater, then: Awake. Revived by tomás. The revival goes in the ledger permanently — reviving an app should feel like jump-starting a friend’s car.

Runway is time. Dollars appear in exactly three places — the burn-rate line, the checkout screen, and here.
